Nestle China officially launched the first phase of HENRi Nestle China Acceleration Business Plan in June 2019. It openly recruited domestic start-ups to explore innovative solutions and business practices on three major themes: plastic packaging recycling, face-to-face consumers, and growth of social e-commerce. During the one and a half months of public recruitment process, more than 120 start-ups have joined the application of Nestle Accelerator. During the nearly one and a half months of enterprise screening process, Nestle project teams conducted face-to-face communication and discussion with nearly 20 start-ups. Eventually, a total of seven outstanding start-ups emerged and formally joined Nestle HENRi Nestle Acceleration Camp.
In mid-September 2019, the first acceleration camp was officially opened in the headquarters office of Nestle Greater China in Beijing. On the opening day, including entrepreneurs, Nestle Greater China Accelerator Team, Accelerator Project Team mentors, gatekeepers and external experts attended the opening ceremony and start-up seminar, and conducted in-depth discussions on how to better Polish products, promote cooperation, and understand the industry background. 。 In the next three months, seven startups will brainstorm and test innovative solutions around Nestle's rich business scenarios and needs.
