The method of calculating the plate fee is calculated according to the area of the plate roller, so this is also the reason why the plate fee of different sizes of plastic bags is different. Specifically, the formula for calculating the edition fee is as follows:

Plate fee = the circumference of the plate roller * the width of the plate roller * the unit price per square centimeter * the number of colors

Among them, the unit price per square centimeter is calculated according to the quotation of the plate factory, generally 0.12-0.15 yuan, the cost of plate making, each manufacturer is different, related to the diameter and width of the plate, and the diameter and width of the plate and the width of the printing machine of the plastic bag manufacturer and the width of the raw material plastic film.

According to the calculation formula of the plate fee, the general plate fee is calculated according to the size of the bag and the number of colors. Some small bags need to be made up, the number of rows of the plate will change the width of the plate, and some small bags have more colors, so the plate fee of some small bags may be higher than that of large bags.

Because the plate making fee is calculated according to the bag size and color number, no matter how many plastic bags are ordered, the plate making fee is the same, because the plate making fee is not cheap, so the more the number of plastic bags used, the cheaper the plate fee is allocated to each plastic bag. If the need for plastic bags is too little, you can consider screen printing or PS plate printing, although the unit price is more expensive, but save the cost of the plate.

It should be noted that once the plate is completed, it cannot be modified, taking into account the relatively high price of the plate making fee, it is not a small expenditure, so before the plate making, be sure to carefully check the design draft, confirm that it is correct and then start the plate making.
